Big Problem to connect Xps 16 to DELL SP2309W 2048x1152 ¡¡¡¡
Hi guys :)
I have a Studio Xps 16" and Dell Sp2309W
If connect both with HDMI, max resolution = fulhd - but .... the colors are poor, bads.... arggggg Wanna Kill laptop . If buy a expensive HDMI cable colors come true??
My real Problem ¡¡¡
I want display at 2048x1152 resolution.
how?????
displayport to DVI maybe ????
Xps has Displayport but Sp2309 dont :(

I have two sp2309w's and love it! I am driving one via VGA and the other via DVI, and am able to get both to show the full 2048x1152 resolution. Many if not most older graphics cards and monitors limited HDMI to just 1920x1080, but DisplayPort has always supported at least 2560x1600. I think your safest bet is to adapt DisplayPort to DVI.
