Pre Boot Assessment runs ok, but boot up ends with it. All I get is a black screen with a working cursor after boot attempt. What can be done?
What is the exact system model? What is the current OS installed on the system?
Restart the system and initiate the preboot assessment and run an extended / thorough test on the HDD to check for any possible errors.
Restart the system and press f2 key to enter BIOS - reset BIOS defaults - save and exit - restart and check if it boots.
If you still get the blinking cursor on the top left, then the OS might be corrupt and needs to be reinstalled.
