Black screen on Vostro 3000 series. Laptop stopped working right after 1 year of purchase with limited use - terrible experience
Laptop dowsnt turn on, shows black screen can hear the hard drive sounds led is there. I've tried following steps:
1. Hard reset
2. Swapped out memory module
3. Tested different power adapter nothing wrong with the battery or charger
Couldnt even figure out whats going on. Any help is appreciated need to fix it asap. First time I bought the dell product however this happened.

Do you feel / hear the fan spinning?
Does the light on the adapter stays on when connected to the system?

The light stays ON on the adapter / I tested everything looks like its main GPU stopped working and guess what that is inbuilt in this computer and my DELL Laptop terribly stopped working after 1 year and 1 month. Wow! Can you guys do anything to fix this?

The mainboard needs to be replaced. Assuming the system is out of warranty, you can have the repair done at the location of your choice. Dell will provide a repair cost estimate -- see
