Bluetooth Driver Missing After Disabling (Dell Latitude E5470)

Hi,

Recently, I disabled the Bluetooth icon in Network Connections. After that I could not enable it back as the icon is missing. I tried to search in Device Manager but there is no Bluetooth Radio item.

I tried to use C:\Windows\System32\fsquirt.exe to receive files but got an error message "The file could not be sent because the connection could not be established. Check to make sure the Bluetooth radio is plugged in."

In Services, I can see the following:

Bluetooth Device Monitor, Bluetooth Media Service, Bluetooth OBEX Service, bthserv.

How do I install back the Bluetooth Radio in Device Manager?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi leekt,

Thanks for posting.

While researching this I found a video which may or may not resolve your issue.  Post back with your results.  http://dell.to/2vWwOQ9

Hi Robert,

I tried the steps in the video. However, I did not find any Bluetooth item in the list of Common Hardware Types. I have one stated "Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework".

I also downloaded and installed Intel Wireless Bluetooth Software for Windows 7. But no luck so far.
