Bluetooth not working

I have bought a new inspiron 15 3521 & after going through the community i think i have made a mistake of buying this particular model. Still trying to resolve my Bluetooth problem. I have installed dual booting Windows 7 & 8 also

Has Bluetooth ever worked? If yes when did it stop?

Have you re-installed the original OS at any point?

When you installed the other OS did you install correct drivers in correct order?

Please provide screenshot of Device Manager showing any errors in BOTH OS's

I presume you've done the obvious and try to re-install Bluetooth drivers for both OS's?

Stop messing with the Hardware Wizard. You'll make things worse!

Install the drivers above (one for each OS) and that should fix the problem.

Repost with a screenshot of your device manager once finished.

For now I'd just install the new driver over the top of the old one, then post a screenshot of device manager when done.

Right click on Bluetooth USB Host controller and choose Properties > Driver > Update Driver. Browse my computer for software > Browse > navigate to where the installation files are see below

C:\dell\Drivers\WLAN & BT 4.0\BT_Device_Driver\64

Click Next and see if it installs the driver.

If that fails then uninstall the WLAN + BT Client Installation from Control Panel > Add/Remove programs and reinstall the drivers again

If it still fails my guess is that you didn't install your drivers in the correct order when you installed the new OS
