Brand new XPS 13 no boot device found

Hello,   I just received my brand new XPS 13 in the mail today, when I opened it up and turned it on it read "no boot devices found, press any key to restart your computer."  After several attempts in restarting and also booting to the other boot devices on the laptop (Windows manager and the partition itself" none of these have solved the issue.  From what I am understanding of this, is this a hardware issue with the SSD on the laptop? Or is there something that I can do that will fix this issue?

Check to make sure it's in UEFI mode and secure boot is enabled.  If both are set, yes - the ssd is likely bad.  Send the system back for replacement -- there is absolutely no point in having a brand new DOA system torn apart for repair.

I checked and the boot option was set to legacy, when i put it to UEFI mode it then began to work.  Thank you for the help!
