Burning DVDs

I have been on the phone with dell tech support five times in two weeks and I am still unable to burn  Dvds. I have spent over 300dollars on software and tech support but notting seems to work. Any Ideas on what should do next?

blue60,

If you're talking about burning data DVD's your burn program should do this with no problems.

If you're trying to put the videos from your camera on a DVD, then try using DVD Flick to encode the files, then they get burned to a DVD as data files.

If you're talking about burning a copyrighted DVD, there are programs out there that decode the DVD and then encode it so it can be played but because of Dells Terms of Use (TOU) we cannot discuss this. I can tell you that DVD -R's work in many DVD players.
