Thanks for the links to Kensington locks, Robert, but Kensington Customer Care informs me "Unfortunately Dell did not include a Kensington Security Slot or a Kensington Mini Slot in this device,  which is required for our locks to be attached. " The documentation for the Inspiron 15 7558 says the slot is a "Noble slot." The Noble locks website offers no ability to contact their sales personnel, and the products they have posted that relate to Dell do NOT mention compatibility with the Inspiron 15 7000 series. Therefore I ask again, what cable lock can I use with my Inspiron 15 7558 2-in-1 laptop, with its tiny security slot?

I am currently on the Amazon site, & there is conflicting information regarding WHICH lock is compatible with the the Dell Inspiron 7000 Series 2-in-1.

Will you please confirm which one (if any) is currently available on Amazon or another site?

The standard security cable lock will secure this model.  Just put the lock in slot #1 as shown above.

I recently purchased an Inspiron 15 7000 series 2-1 for son and cannot find a cable lock for it.  after buying and returning many lock types I just called Dell and they suggested the Dell Premium Keyed Lock (# 332-1672). Going by the responses to this forum, I suspect that lock won't work either. I am at a loss. Is the correct lock for this laptop the "Noble Security Wedge Profile Lock - for Tablets and Ultrabooks" - http://accessories.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=bsd&cs=04&sku=A6451164#Overview?

Sorry, but I tried to use the same "standard" security cable I used with other laptops, and it does not work on the Dell Inspirion 15 7000 series. The slot is too small.

Please provide us with the correct product name / number for a security cable.

I've noticed many people are confused about what security lock is needed for the Dell Inspirion 15" 7000 2-in-1 Model

The Correct and fitting Security Cable for The Dell Inspirion 15" 7000 2-in-1 modelis A NobleLocks Wedge Security Lock. It is smaller than a standard Lock and can thus fit in the smaller security slot.
