Hi,

Regret to say that the processor on the laptop cannot be upgraded. Each system comes with a specific motherboard on which the processor cannot be changed. You can only upgrade the memory/Hard drive on the laptop.

Yes, but that said:

The processor likely isn't the problem.  If you decide to replace the board, be sure the replacement has hybrid (not just Intel) video.  The processor will be replaced along with the board.  You will also need a new heatsink assembly to make the upgrade, and a 90W adapter if you currently have a 65W one.  The cost won't be insignificant -- figure on $300 or so for an i7 board and another $30 or so for the heatsink -- and if the system is under warranty, you will lose the warranty in the process of upgrading.

This is not - and never will be -- a gaming system of any caliber, no matter what you do to it.

ejn63 is right, though we do not sell motherboard upgrades from our end. You will need to contact a local third party technician and get it done and we cannot guarantee performance. If you have any further queries, do write to us.

Your CPU has more than enough performance for the game.  It's the GPU that does not.

It may help a bit, but won't be a major boost.  The largest problem is likely the integrated GPU, which is the reason you'd need a board or system upgrade (the latter is preferable).
