Can't adjust brightness on my Dell Inspiron 17R SE 7720
Today I turned on my laptop and the brightness felt like it was dimmed at least to 50%. I tried to adjust the brightness with FN+F5/F4 but nothing happened. The other FN shortcuts work fine.
I updated the GPUs drivers but nothing changed. Any suggestions how to solve the problem?

Hi theotses,
I would suggest you to update the BIOS and quickset driver on the system. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, select the OS, then download the BIOS and BIOS section and Dell Quickset application from Application section onto the system and install it.

Also, Please go into the ‘Power options’ screen to check if you are able alter the brightness of the screen by using the scroll bar at the bottom.

Thank you for the reply. I solved the problem by installing some minor windows updates that were available.
