Can you please add option to disable hyperthreading in next bios update?

Hi,

  I just bought an XPS 15 L521X laptop, which has 4 physical cores, and 8 HT threads, and realized there's no bios option to disable hyperthreading.

The situation is like this: I have a chess software that is not very parallel-efficient. It has much better performance to run in 2GHz*4 than in 1GHz*8.  And there are certainly many other software that face the same problem.

I think it doesn't hurt anyone to provide a bios option to disable/enable HT. And for those who is tweaking the bios they know what they are doing; without this option, I feel very constrained.
