Cannot find backlit keyboard (no point stick) for Latitude E5470.
I was wondering if the backlit keyboard (no point stick) of E5450 or E7470 is compatible with E5470? From the images I have seen the dimensions and mounting holes look identical to E5470's Keyboard (no point stick) .

No problem. Yes, all E5470s should support backlit keyboards.

Hi wapda11,
The keyboards for the following Latitudes are all cross-compatible:
3340, 3550, E5450, E5470, 5480/5488, E7250, E7450, 7480

Thanks for responding.
My laptop has non-backlit keyboard but I have verified that it does have an extra connector next to the main keyboard connector which is required for backlit function cable that comes with all backlit keyboards. This should make my laptop compatible with backlit keyboards. Am I right?
