Changing system board on inspiron 6000
My system board/motherboard has gone bad in my laptop. I got a new system board which is just that inside a base. My question is................... should I put all of my stuff into the new base, or change out the system board in my current laptop? And, will I have to deal with any service tag issues?
Can anyone help???

it'll require less disassembly, yes. Most boards won't have service tag number on them.

Which one will require less? Also, the other base with the good system board in it has a service tag sticker on the bottom of it, that's why I am concerned with it.........
