Charger for XPS and Latitude
Hello
I had E7240 dell, I got new XPS13 l322 x
can i use the charger of Dell E7240 to XPS 13 ?
E7240 charger is PA 12 Family, 65W and output 19.5V 3.34 A
XPS Charger is 45 W , PA-1450-66D1
Please let me know, i need to keep one charger for both if possible.

Hi TAMDELL,
Firstly, the XPS L322x is not a new model and is not available for purchase as a new machine.
Having said this, the XPS l322x uses a 45W adapter and the Latitude e7240 uses a 65W adapter as you are already aware.
If you are able to switch and plug the adapter to either systems, it might power on the machine, but the battery would not charge if the adapter is not recognized to provide sufficient voltage to the system and will not be determined / recognized by the system.
So, it is recommended to use the respective adapters with the designated systems.
