Continuous short beeps

Why are you pressing the power button after the Dell logo? It's not necessary. Just let the boot-up proceed after you turn it on.

i think i have typed it wrong.. what i mean is when i press the power button then the dell logo comes in. after the dell logo i hear the continuous beeps until windows boot screen. i tried searching the web for beep codes regarding this but there is just no luck.

Power button > Dell Logo > continuous short beeps until > windows Boot screen 

i can use my os with no problems it's just the beeps i am concerned with,

i have dell inspiron mini 1011 

windows 7 ultimate os

160 gb hdd (i just changed it because my old drive, according to my netbook, is going to fail soon)

i have already removed the keyboard and refit it on the laptop.. the keyboard seems to be fine..

One of keys may be stuck. This can cause the beeping.
