DDR3 instead of DDR3L trouble??
Hello fellows,
i've just bought one module of 8 giga sodimm ram( KINGSTON MEMORY KVR16S11/8 1600MHz SODI)
and after the installation my laptop (dell inspiron 15 3542 ) didn't start giving me a two beep sound .So i wonder is my new ram broken or the my laptop cannot handle with siple ddr3 rams???

Below are the memory specs for the Inspiron 3542 laptop.
Memory module connector This system has only one memory slot.
Memory module capacities 2 GB, 4 GB and 8 GB
Memory type 1600 MHz DDR3L -The "L" Represents Low Voltage.
Minimum memory 2 GB
Maximum memory 8 GB
