DELL 7567 screen malfunction after sleep.
Whenever my laptop goes to sleep (either through idle or closing lid), after waking it up, the screen becomes like this https://i.imgur.com/yV1cIaD.jpg
anyway to solve this?

Open Device Manager
Expand display adapters
Double-click on your Intel® display device
Select the Driver tab
Click Roll Back Driver to restore

Run Click 2 fix tool:-
Please click on the link below to download c2f tool. This tool will run a thorough check on the system and help us to fix this issue.

Once the application is downloaded, please double click on the shortcut created for it to run it. Once the application opens, please run the tile in the following path:
Home -> Fix Windows Issues -> Software fixist & troubleshooter -> Resolve Sleep/Hibernate Mode Issues.
Please update these drivers and reboot the system.

I suspected it was caused by a new graphics driver, and yep:

According to this link, the new 22.20.16.4735 Intel HD graphics driver (from Dell) causes this issue. Version 21.20.16.4574 seems to be fine.
EDIT: I'm using 21.20.16.4727 from here: www.dell.com/.../driversdetails
Seems to be alright too.

same problem. i have to shut my laptop off every time i switch classes and it is very annoying.
