Dell 15 7000 ac power adapter

Greetings ,

A couple months ago I bought the Dell 2 n 1 15 7000 Start lord laptop and now I am having problems with it charging.  It shows that it is plugged in and I get the message that it doesn't recognize it and it won't charge.  I am using the cord that came with the laptop.

* Turn the laptop off
* Disconnect the AC adapter from the laptop AC adapter port and the wall outlet
* Wait 30 seconds
* Plug the AC adapter back into only the wall power outlet
* Does a lit LED appear on the brick? (Yes/No)

* Reconnect the AC adapter to the laptop
* Turn the laptop on and press F2
For Inspiron 15-7558, AC adapter will be listed as AC Adapter Type <45w> under the Main tab.
For Inspiron 15-7568, AC adapter will be listed as AC Adapter = 45w in the Battery Information page.
* What do you see there?

Front Power/Battery Status LED =
Solid white light — Power adapter is connected to the computer and the battery is being charged.
Solid yellow light — Battery charge is low or critical.
Off — Power adapter is connected to the computer and battery is fully charged or power adapter is not connected to the computer.

Call Dell - they'll first replace the adapter under warranty.  If that fails to solve the problem, they'll replace the DC jack or mainboard under warranty -- one of those three parts is faulty.
