Dell 1525 Inspiron
My daughter 1525 is have the following problem: When trying to restore. I get a message the recovery partition is corrupt. The laptop battery won't charge new or old. The laptop won't recognize a disk while trying to make a recovery. Last the cursor jumps while typing? Any help I would be grateful. Kevin

Run the F12 diagnostics:

If you are trying to restore and the OS recovery partition is corrupt then you will need to manually clean install see here for details:
