Dell 5000 series won't use dedicated graphics card but integrated instead

Hello forum. I've got a Dell 5000 series with a Radeon R7 2gb dedicated GPU and 16gb of ram.

The computer runs fine but when I try to play games (like PUBG) it performs poorly even in low settings. I'm getting no more than 15fps which looks like pretty bad for what the GPU can handle, specially on those settings

I've found other people's threads where it seemed to be a problem with the switcheable graphics feature that seems to be bugged so it uses the integrated GPU instead of the dedicated one. However I've tried different suggestions from those threads and I haven't been able to fix the issue.

Does this happen often? Should I try and format the computer? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
