Dell E6410

My Dell E6410 won't start.  Everytime I turn it on, it tells me that "An operating system was not found.  Try disconnecting any drives that don't contain an operating system."  It was working fine yesterday!  I've tried multiple things.  I pressed F2, and it popped up.

Does the system setup still sense the hard drive (F2 at powerup to check)? If yes, then boot to the Dell diagnostics and run an extended test on the hard drive (F12 at powerup).

If no, unplug the system, remove or disconnect the battery and remove and reinstall the hard drive.  If it then shows up, test as above.

If the drive fails the test or doesn't appear after reconnecting it, it's toast - replace with a new 2.5" SATA hard drive, hybrid drive or solid state drive, reload the OS and your application and restore your data from your backups.
