Dell INSPIRON N5010 Heating Problem

I am trying to change operating system, Now the problem is that during the process of installation , before the setup is completed the system shuts down.Is there any solution for this.

Hi regmi,

Welcome to the Community,

Try running the hardware diagnostics by tapping F12 (on start up,Dell Logo),select Diagnostics.

Post back error code/message is any.

If the diagnostics passes without any error,for the heating issue clean the air vents  and also try updating BIOS from this link below :

Note:Before updating BIOS disconnect all external peripherals from the system(USB devices,SD cards). Make sure the AC adapter is connected and battery is adequately charged(more than 10 %). Do  not turn of the system while BIOS is getting updated.
