My system was giving me some problems so I recently reformatted my computer with the Manufacturer CD that comes with the purchase of a Dell computer. Also, i have found a universal driver for your wi-fi card. Look up these links (I summed up the three probable wlan cards your pc may have and these are their drivers from intel. It would be easier if you go to device manager and see what model is the card. To do this type in the search box of your Windows Device Manager and open it and look for the section, called "Network Adapters"):
Ahhh, downloading Intel Proset Driver (Middle Link) seems to have fixed it. You have my thanks!
