Dell Inspiron 15 3567 doesn't recognize it's graphic adapters

Jump to solution

So, I bought Dell Inspiron 15 3567. It was with Linux already installed. I Installed Windows 7 on it, and my fault that I didn't ask for drivers disk, because usually it comes together with laptop. But somehow since it was with Linux installed - there were no CD added.

And now when I run the Windows assessment - graphics and gaming graphics are shown to be 1. Under graphics tab, it shows that there are no recognized adapters and graphic memory is 0MB.

Now I can't install Intel drivers and it says that my PC doesn't meet the requirements. I tried Googling - but there was no rescue.

Only option was to enable auto display adapter search. But there was no option in BIOS to let computer find adapters itself.

What can I do, to install newest graphic drivers. Maybe someone already had this issue?

I would be glad for any piece of advice

Same problem happened to me also, because I bought Dell 3567 with DOS OS,

First of all,

a. Use Windows 10 / 8.1 (Since mine is 8GB ram, I have installed Windows 10 Enterprise x64, and It is best Windows version so far) & 64 bit OS will use ram correctly compared to 32 bit OS.

b. I think Dell 3567 is dual Graphics type laptop, which uses Intel Adapter for normal Display & will use AMD as render type adapter for High Graphics games.

c. So, you have to install both Intel & AMD Drivers as exactly mentioned in below Order.

I have done following steps.

1. Updated BIOS from Dell website

2. Uninstalled Old Drivers if any (Intel & AMD) using Display Driver Uninstaller from guru3d

3. Installed Intel Graphics from Dell website (now adapter showing as HD620)

4. Restart, then Installed WHQL AMD Radeon Driver from AMD site according to my OS & Device I.D

5. And Last Important Step - Restart using recovery option and disable driver signature enforcement in Window 10/8.1.

6. Also permanently disable driver signature enforcement by entering below command in "cmd(Run as administrator)" , so windows will not stop AMD driver.

"bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks on"

7. Now Games are working fine in my laptop.

Check below Steps to confirm:

1. First your device manager will show both Intel Adapter & AMD Adapter. Both will be working properly.

2. If you right click in Desktop, you can see both AMD Radeon settings & Intel Graphics settings and both will work without giving any errors. In system tray you can also see both AMD Radeon settings & Intel Graphics settings and both will work without giving any errors.

3. Your display adapter will show as Intel, but you can add particular games in AMD Radeon settings, so it will run using AMD Graphics.

4. You can also check "dxdiag". It will show Intel Graphics in Display tab & AMD Graphics in Render tab.

5. You can also check "system information" > Components > Display. It will show both AMD & Intel Driver with allocated memory (mine is 2GB AMD & 1 GB Intel)

6. You can use "Furmark" GPU stress testing to see if AMD Graphics is working & showing some loads and temperature.

My system configuration:

Dell 3567

Windows 10 x64

8GB Ram

I5 7th Gen

2GB Graphics - Radeon R5 M330(This is based on my Hardware I.D,

Don't trust any other driver finding software says, check in AMD device I.D page to find your actual hardware)

What CPU do you have in the system?  This model is available with both sixth- and seventh-generation Intel CPUs.

The sixth generation CPUs require a custom-made Windows 7 image.  The seventh generation CPUs support ONLY Windows 10 -- there is no support for windows 7 at all.
