Dell Inspiron 15-5555 laptop screen is blank but laptop is working fine

Dell Inspiron 15-5555 laptop screen brightness is low.almost like screen is black, but we can see the dell logo and windows signing in.What can be the issue?Since the display is touchscreen is there any inverter that can be replaced or the entire LED screen needs to be replaced? What are the steps to diagnose the issue?

Apologies that your system is not working as expected.
Have you tried an external monitor to see if the same issues are exhibited there?  If so, it could mean that either the motherboard or the GPU has failed.  If not, then it would be the LCD.  The best way to diagnose would be to press F12 at startup or run system diagnostics from Support Assist .  You can also contact Tech Support for further troubleshooting at 1-800-624-9896  or 1-800-288-4410, or you can initiate a chat session http://dell.to/2v4snVm
