I have a Dell Inspiron 15R 5537 bought in 2014
Running Windows 10, 8GB of RAM, 1TB of HDD
Bios (DELL Inc A08 4/30/2014
Bios mode UEFI (secure boot deactivated)
For the last 2-3 weeks my laptop has boot issues. From a regular start or a reboot!
It can take 30 secs to see the DELL logo up to 2-3 hours... YES up to 2 or 3 hours before the DELL logo appears. In average I would say 25 to 45 mins before the DELL logo appears. After when the DELL logo appears it boots correctly in Windows 10 and the laptop does not look to have any performance issues.
All of this started when the DELL system detected that newer hardware drives were available and a newer BIOS A09.
ps: forgot to add when trying to flash the bios to the new version I get this message
InsydeH20 - Secure Flash
Error : Invalid firmware image!!!
Please press any key to reset system......

I tried the bios from your link. I already had downloaded the same from DELL and I have the same results. Below you have the screen images that I took. It always asks me if I want to downgrade ?!?! If I say Y or N I always have the same result... invalid firmware. I was able to download from the DELL website version A08 of the BIOS and it asks me if I want to replace A08 (Inspirion 5537) with A08 (Inspirion 5537) and again after a couple of minutes (30 in average) I get the same blue message.
Any other suggestions before I throw the laptop by the window!
If you reboot and immediately press F2, can you get into BIOS setup?
If you can, look for an option to reset BIOS to the factory defaults. Be sure to save the changes before exiting setup...

I am not a Dell employee
There is no option to "reset" BIOS to factory defaults. The only option that I have is "Load Setup Defaults" that I have tried several times with no success
