Dell Inspiron 17 Series 5000 - Bluetooth Issue

My bluetooth conectivity suddenly stopped working.

I have checked that the latest Intel drivers are installed & working properly, which they are.

I am trying to connect my Bluetooth Mouse 3600, which worked fine before. I have also tried to connect my Android phone.

My phone can 'see' my laptop but does not pair. Error message on Android is: ''Couldn't pair with laptop because of an incorrect PIN or passkey.'' yet no PIN was requested by the laptop.

From the laptop bluetooth software, 'Add a device', the laptop 'sees' the Android. Error message is: ''Couldn;t connect. Try connecting again.''

Any solution much appreciated.

Inspiron 17  Series 5759.

Thanks Jesse. I know how to connect a device via Bluetooth or USB. What is happening is that both devices recognize each other but cannot pair.
