I have a Dell Inspiron 5521 that is about a year and a half old. In the last two weeks, it's begun to make a beeping noise and will not boot up. As far as I can tell, there's no pattern or end to the beeps -- it's just one beep continuously. The longest I've let it beep before I couldn't stand it anymore and popped the battery out was 25 beeps. There are about two and a half seconds in between each beep. Up until very recently, taking the battery out and putting it back in seemed to solve the problem, but that no longer seems to work.
I've researched beep codes but can't seem to find one matching that description. Any help would be much appreciated!
Running Windows 7. The BIOS version and date is Dell Inc. A05, 1/3/2013, SMBIOS Version 207.

When a laptop or computer first powers on, it goes through an initial set of diagnostic tests to make sure vital components are preforming correctly. These tests are called POST or Power On Self Test. When a test fails, the user is notified via POST codes, Light codes, or Beep codes. For diagnosing Beep codes you need to:
If the error gets repeated then please send me a private message with the computer's service tag, Name registered during the system purchase and email address so that I can check what can be done. To send a private message, click on my name and select start conversation.
Please let me know if this helps.
I'm sorry, I could not seem to find the "start conversation" button.
I counted 72 consecutive beeps, with approximately 2.5 seconds in between each beep, before I powered the computer off. Does that mean it is 1 beep repeating itself, and therefore a system board failure? If so, how do I fix this?
72 beeps. A possible system board resource and/or hardware failure has occurred. However for us to proceed further to assist you we need the complete system information.
Kindly send me a private message with the computer's service tag, Name registered during the system purchase and email address so that I can check what can be done. To send a private message, click on my name and select start conversation.
As I mentioned previously, the option to start a conversation is not appearing when I click on your name. The only options being displayed are "Add as Friend" and "Follow." Please let me know if there is another way to provide you with the system information.
