Dell Inspiron 5547 replacement DC jack looks different to original

I need to replace a faulty DC/power jack on a Dell Inspiron 5547. However, all of the replacements look different to the DC jack that is already in the laptop.

Please see the below images; the existing jack seems to have 4 outside pins with two middle ones, whereas the replacement is cylindrical with a hole in the middle. Apologies for the low-light.

The replacement:

My question is, despite the difference, will the replacement part (p/n: M03W3) fit with no issues?

Thanks in advance.

Hi TJ380,

The port on your machine looks damaged.

The M03W3 is the part specified for your system model - http://bit.ly/28SYFVc

As long as the power adapter is fine, it should fit into the dc port.

Also, please click my DELL-username and write me a private message with the service tag and your contact details(Name and Email) for case records.
