Dell Inspiron 7520 Laptop turns off whenever AC Adapter is plugged in.
I bought this laptop in june 2012 worked fine till the warranty expired and now this problem started occuring first time was when the charger was connected to it and i was watching a movie and it suddenly turned off and when i removed the charger and turned it on back again it gave me this notification on the boot screen-your battery is temporarily disabled. please turn off your computer and try again when the unit is back to the operating temperature.
at first it happened again after a whole month then weeks then days and now it happens everytime i plug in my charger while i am working on it at first i thought that it might be a problem with the battery but then i found a forum which told me to check whether i could use my laptop without the battery in it and the charger plugged in then i tried the same, but no luck i am worried becuse i cant always work like this as i am a student of computer science engg. i need it to work 24x7.

If the system WILL run without a battery (AC only) but not with the battery, the battery is bad - replace the battery.
If it WILL NOT run without a battery or with it, try a new Dell OEM AC adapter first. If that doesn't solve the problem, replace the mainboard.

Thanks but the main problem is whenever i plug my adapter to the laptop it turns off and i found that the battery led indicator fluctuates a bit, sure i need to try a new ac adapter first to get to the root of the problem.

had a conversation with the dell customer care, all they were able to explain was that the motherboard is having conflict with the charge of the adapter and somehow resulting to reverse charging of the laptop, now they asked me to pay INR 11000 to get remote help where the engineer would visit the site examine laptop and will replace motherboard, daughterboard, adapter if required, but i still don't get it that the if the problem is with the motherboard then they should replace the board for free because this might occur due to any fault in the manufacturing of the board not because i busted the laptop no damage have been caused to the laptop, i have heard about replacement of parts by many reputed brands when a fault is found in the lot, why can't dell do the same, the customer care executive told me that if you want to extend the warranty of the laptop then you have to pay INR 7000 over the 11000 which is 18000, which is <ADMIN NOTE: Substitute characters removed as per terms of use> they should check first that it could be a problem with the powers jack or adapter itself but they want me to pay the money first what does that mean is dell facing financial crisis.
