Dell Inspiron Duo 8 Beeps and Black Screen

So a few days ago I received a Dell Inspiron Duo from my friend and after a few days of using it, I tried to turn it on but the screen is just black and it'll beep 8 times in a row. What can I do to fix it without touching my wallet?
