Dell Inspiron N5110 CPU Upgrade from i3-2330M to i5 or i7 ?

Hello!

    I have a Dell Inspiron N5110 laptop with a i3-2330M processor and I want to upgrade it.
Can I replace the i3-2330M CPU with i7-2620M ? They have the same power consumption: 35W.  I've read on this forum that the i7 series are not compatible with Inspiron N5110 motherboard and power source. But both CPU's have the same pin configuration and power consumption.

If the i7 CPU isn't good, what about i5-2540M ?
