Dell Inspiron keyboard 1545 malfunction

While typing on the Dell Inspiron 1545 on and off one or more letters are misplaced. Ie sent to Dear on a previous line.  A new system was installed about 1 year ago. When I click on start and type in keyboard driver etc. It states that device is working properly. I checked for a keyboard update and it

said keyboard is the most up to date for this laptop.  I ordered a new keyboard and replaced older. Still the laptop misplaces letters while typing.

what next?  If I uninstall keyboard and present one is most up to date I see a tab for return to previous keyboard, I don't see a tab for reinstall.

What part is needed to remedy this problem? Or is a brand new laptop needed?:emotion-40:

You likely need a new keyboard.

Hello CW2013, have you noticed if the keyboard reacts the same way while in the BIOS? If you would please send me a message with the service tag and I can take a look at what we can do for you.
