Dell Inspiron n4050 ATI Radeon 6470m installation problem
i am unable to install ATI Radeon 6470m on my dell inspiron n4050. it have default intel hd graphics 3000 driver installed. but i want to swtich from intel to ati radeon driver to play GTA IV game.

Hi rawiswar2001,
I would suggest you to try flashing the BIOS on the system. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, select the operating system, and then download the BIOS from the BIOS section onto the system and install it. After the BIOS update please check in the device manager if you find unknown device. Also, please reply us with snapshot of the device manager.

i did updated the bios to version A08 and still the issue is not yet resolved. it is showing only intel hd graphics default adaptor.

I would advise that you restore the computer to factory state and check for issue resolution. Please follow the steps in the link below to perform PC restore.
