Dell Latitude D600 loud beeping noise on startup.

I have recently been setup with a dell latitude d600, which is using a dell port replicator.  Upon connecting the laptop to the replicator/docking station I recieve a loud continous beeping noise.  Additionally, the unit passes the post with no faults but then continues to complete the user name field almost as if a key is permanently depressed.

All keys, are aligned correctly and do not appear to be damaged.  Also, if I remove the laptop from the port replicator the beeping goes away and I can use this as normal.  Do you have any ideas?

Hello deviantz,

Welcome to the Dell Community Forum,

What devices are connected to the replicator/docking station? Also what Operating System are you running? Try resetting bios outside of the docking station.(alt-f) If that doesn't work delete the docked profile.(while outside of the dock)

Thanks,
