Dell Latitude D830 intel wireless 4965 agn

Anyone know what happen to the intel 4965 agn that was offered as a option on the Latitude D830? I can't find it. Do you know if Dell will have that as a option again?

I think Dell is trying to promote their own N-band wireless card, the Dell Wireless 1505. This card supports the a/b/g standards, and the new draft-802.11n. From a technical standpoint this card is supperior, but if you really wanted the Intel 4965 you would probably have to talk to customer care and sales to arrange a return for credit and buy the Intel card seperately. Here's the link for more info on the Dell Wireless 1505:

Interesting, can you tell me why the 1505 is superior to the 4965? I hope dell has both as options soon.

Hmm perhaps not, after doing further researching the Intel 4965 also supports the b-band, but they don't include it in their common title. I guess it's fair to say the two cards are pretty similar.
