Dell Latitude E7450 - graphics driver stopped working and has recovered

Hi ,

Kindly help me with some more information so that I can understand the issue better,

*Have you had the chance to check in safe mode with networking to see if the video distorted .

*Have you tried to initiate lcd BIST (Built in self test ) on the system by pressing the D Key and the power button once the test is initiated then if the screen works fine then you should be able to view solid colors on the screen without distortion .

*Is the display good on an external screen ( If it is then the system board works fine )

I had the technical guy here directly from DELL, he performed some LCD tests and he told me that LCD is OK, also hardware is good. It seem to be something with SW. I have no problem with LCD but with drivers.

Also I did not notice it when I had windows 7.

I tried it but still have this issue. I have windows 8.1.

i discovered that meybe google chrome can couse this problem. Especialy when i tried to play some youtube video with html5 ... always geting message about faulty graphic driver was recovered.

So that is no problem, now it hapend even if i was only browsing on IE11.

As per your previous post if the issue is seen only while using IE11 then I would suggest you to downgrade to the previous version by uninstalling this version and reinstalling the previous  version and please try that in safe mode with networking .

I decided to reinstall whole PC. I put there Windows 10 PRO. And ...... I hapend again !!!!
I have not install any third party SW, nothing.

But then we still haven't released the firmware or the drivers for windows 10 since the windows 10 release date is July 29th .Post that date only will be able to assist you with this driver for this OS.That's the reason I would ask you to install previous version of windows and provide the hardware ID of the video driver listed in device manager.

But it is the same error like in Windows 8.1. So I thing that Windows version is not so important. It is something else.

I found that it can be hardware problem.

thank you for you response. That link is not driver, but some sw what can automaticaly install drivers.
I downloaded my driver directly drom dell site, and I dont have any outdated drivers, becouse of brand new system.

I have contacted dell support today, the told me that the will Exchange motherboard.

I noticed, that the truble start after sleeping mode. If i restart it than is much better.
