Dell M3800 Battery issue - where to buy a new one?
You can see in the photos.
The battery on my M3800 got that problem 2 years ago and many areas are bloated.
I took it out this morning because the track pad was "pop out".
Could you please tell me where I can buy a new one? The authentic one.

Puncturing the cover layer might release toxic gasses or liquid, I do not suggest it.

Thanks for posting.
Unfortunately Dell is no longer carrying batteries for this model, I also checked with parts-people.com, and they are out of stock as well. You may find "knock off" batteries from China, but these have allegedly caused fires and may not be the quality Dell requires. Any used products for this model will probably have the same issues you are reporting.The best advice would be to use the laptop on the AC power, until you can find another battery from a reputable dealer.

Thank you so much for your time and effort.
I think using AC from now on would be a solution.
Do you think that I can use a needle to puncture the cover layer of the battery so the air or whatever materials made it bloated to be released? Then, the battery could be back to normal shape?

Shipping from US to EU can be very costly!
