Dell Maxxsense Equalizer Presets Are Missing

All the Dell audio presets, Rock, Dance, Jazz, R&B, etc, are missing. Does anyone know how to restore them? I have an Inspiron 17R laptop with Windows 10.

I'd like an answer to David's question, too.  I have the same laptop as him, and I lost those presets when I upgraded to Windows 8.1 from the originally installed Windows 8.0

Hello. There were 5 Dell models in the Inspiron 17R series:

(2011) N7110 (Realtek -- XP, Vista, 7, 8))
(2012) 5720 & SE 7720 (Conexant -- 8, and IDT -- 7, 8, 8.1)
(2013) 5721 & 5737 (Realtek -- 7, 8, 8.1, 10)

I lost those presets when I upgraded to Windows 8.1

To get MaxxAudio back after installing a new operating system you have to install the vendor's audio driver (vendor's name in parentheses above). MaxxAudio is combined with the vendor's driver and so what exactly you end up getting depends on what a given version of the driver has -- might or might not have features you had with a previous version of the driver.

Dell did not support 8.1 or 10 on all of the Inspiron 17R models so with those models the vendor's driver for 7, 8, or 8.1 should be installed in compatibility mode.
