Dell Mini 12 some keys stopped working

I have a Dell Inspiron Mini 12, which I bougn in January 2009, so the warranty is expired.

This morning I noticed that QWER and UIOP keys just stopped working. When I press one of them nothing happens. All other keys and everythng else is fine.

I have not installed/uninstalled anything prior to this occurence.

If the keys fail to work in safe mode (F8 before Windows loads), replace the keyboard.

No, safe mode did not help.

Will I be able to replace the keyboard myself? I have never done anything to my laptops. With my desktops I added memory, replaced hard drives, changed video and network adapters.

Do I need about the same level of skills?
