Dell PC Diagnostics Question
I decided to run a diagnostics test this morning and everything came back as a "pass".
This was a real surprise as the battery died a death 3 yrs ago since when I've been running the machine on mains electricity.
Battery
Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery
Battery Life Test
N/A
How is this possible and should I believe any of the other results?

Good Afternoon
Thank you for contacting the community.
The test running on the battery might be passing as the AC Power is simply plugged in, and the test reads as though it is being charged. In regards to all of the other tests, like memory etc... I wouldn't ignore these, and if everything is running ok, it looks as though they are passing purposely.
Is there any other specific issues we can assist with.
