Dell Studio 1535 Docking Station
Hi all,
I have a 5 year old Dell Studio 1535 laptop and am looking for a docking station for it. I bought it mainly for office work but after a year I took out at construction sites etc...Unfortunately the wear on the plastcs is starting to be obvious and I think that it would be a good idea to "park" it for good since everything else is working fine!
I want to ask if there are docking stations available for the studio models since i have read on other posts that only the professional series models have available docking stations.

No, there are no docking stations for this model - there are universal port replicators but there are no true docking stations.
Only the business models (Latitude, Precision) have true dock options.

Assuming you can replace the parts yourself, the cost will be less than what a port replicator will cost.
