Dell System Profiler plug-in
While trying to update the XPS 1330 I notice the Dell System
Profiler plug-in will not work. Was looking for current config before
any updates.
The Active X was accepted and a program appeared to run.
Now Says;
Downloading/verifying the Dell System Profiler plug-in...
Anyone else experiencing this?
Dell XPS 1330
T9300 @ 2.5 GZ
4 MB ram

Hit the F5 key.
Now it works.

I just updated my Inspiron E1505 to A17 BIOS with the same result.......except, F5 does not fix it. I cannot get any current system data to download. Just says that the plug-in is downloading, and it locks in the download. "Error on page" is in bottom left corner of page too.. I can choose options other than any part of system data and all is good......
Anyone else???

I'm having the same problem. Hitting the F5 button only takes me back to the original configuration, which doesn't answer my question about how my computer's power supply. It's difficult to determine whether (and by how much) to upgrade the power supply if Dell doesn't provide its customers with information concerning the system's extant supply. I'd greatly appreciate anyone's advice as to how to make this determination!

down at the bottom right of the page click the printer friendly version and it will work.

None of those solutions worked for me, but going to the following URL, via another article, did:

Excellent! Thanks! Worked like a charm. I did add the dell support site to the list of IE trusted sites + used only IE for this.
