Dell XPS 13 2016 - randomly double clicks to open pages

When say browsing newspapers websites, suddenly pages will be opened that I never clicked to open. The touch pad seems to double click on the link by itself!

How do I fix this annoying thing please?

What is the exact system model? What is the current OS installed on the system? When did the issue start?

If the system was working fine earlier, then perform a system restore to restore the machine to an earlier point where it was working fine - http://bit.ly/1JEw2ov

What browser are you using? Kindly test the same with another browser?

I called Dell support and they remotely re installed the touchpad which fixed the problem
