Dell XPS 13 9365 Loud Beep Issue
Hi All,
I've had an XPS 13 2 in 1 for a few weeks now and every so often (a few times a day) it makes a loud beep for a half second. I cant tell if it is coming from the speakers or from something else in the system, but its extremely loud and sharp no matter what the volume setting is at. This isnt the coil whine issue, which I do hear sometimes when the computer is plugged in but it doesn't really bother me. Has anybody else had this issue with their XPS 9365? Is there some way to fix it?

I just got my device, and I've heard the noise 3 times today. There really isnt a pattern that I can discern thus far.

Just installed the listed driver and within the day I heard the beep two more times.. (I haven't tried the bios update, but will try now and reply if the issue is resolved)

I don't think it is coming from the speakers as iv has a similar problem with my XPS, perhaps take it to your local computer store?

Installed the driver and the beep still happens..... No change. Everything is up to date including the Bios.

Hi Luke, I have heard the beep a number of times when the volume on my XPS is turned off so I don't think it's related to the speakers.
I have also heard it when the lid has been shut (although the XPS will occasionally not go into sleep mode when the lid is shut so it may still be on). The beep comes from the keyboard and is very loud.
