Dell XPS 13 Headset Jack

Hi all,

I recently bought a Dell XPS 13 and was wondering if there's any way to use a gaming headset with both a headphone and microphone cable on it since the XPS 13 only comes with 1 "headset jack". Is using a splitter the only way to get it to work?

Hello. the only other way I know of is to get a usb audio jack, which might work better than the splitter anyway.

The jack is a headphone/microphone or what is called a Combined Audio Port.  If your headset has multiple audio plugs you may need an adapter to turn those 2 plugs into 1.

There are USB adapters you could use or Bluetooth can be a good option.
