Dell XPS 13 battery

I have had a dell xps 13 for about 2 months and yesterday my battery stopped charging, now i run through the diagnostic thing and it says that my battery is at the end of its life?? whats up with that. Is there anyway that this can be fixed without buying a new battery or will i have to buy a brand new battery to replace my brand new battery?

The battery is warranted for 12 months -- a system that new is under warranty.  Contact Dell to have the battery replaced under warranty.

Hi GM4,

Restart the system and press f2 key to enter BIOS - check the adapter status in BIOS with and without the adapter plugged in. Also, wiggle the adapter cable at the end and see if the status changes in BIOS at any point. Check the battery health in BIOS (if applicable).

Kindly private message me the service tag of the system and your contact details and based on the system warranty, I shall advise further course of action.
