Dell XPS 13 keyboard lags
I am not that fast of a typer and I still type too fast for my laptop. I just got this laptop in January of this year. I have to backspace all the time and double check what I write because the keyboard does not pick up everything I type. It is really annoying. Is there any fix for this?
Also, is there a way to turn off the keyboard back light by default?

My XPS 13 is brand new (April 22) and I have the same problem with the keyboard. Did you ever find a solution?

Just got my new XPS13 today (29-Aug) and I have the same issue.
Have you found a resolution to this issue?

Same issue. Purchased in November. Is really disappointing. Would be great if someone has found a solution.

Also have this problem with the XPS 13 purchased late 2014. Keyboard lags at intermittent rates behind typing. Very annoying. I have tried everything I can think of including a fresh install of windows and the problem is still there.
Interestingly, any external keyboard I plug in does not have the issue. It's easy to see, by opening a text editor like notepad and just holding down one key. When I do this on the XPS's keyboard the repeat rate is highly variable and lags. When I do the same on the external keyboard the repeat rate is fast and consistent.
This problem is very annoying for anyone who types fast, as some key strokes are actually missed.
Would love a solution.

I have this issue too and would really appreciate any solutions.
Would a keyboard replacement help? Or do we think it is something else?

I actually had the keyboard replaced on my XPS13 for another reason, and it didn't fix this issue either.
I don't get the keyboard lag/delay issue when the laptop is plugged in to AC power, which suggests to me that the problem is more complicated than just the keyboard... I'd be interested to know if plugging the computer in also fixes the keyboard issue for you?

It doesn't seem to totally fix it, but it doesn't seem as bad.
I guessed a keyboard replacement wouldn't fix the problem, but I thought I'd check.
Is yours an i5 or an i7?

Mine too. Does anyone with an i7 version have the same problem?
