Dell XPS 15 AC adaptor problem

Hi, I am facing an issue with Dell AC adaptor in my XPS 15.

During boot I get an error in the BIOS saying my AC Adaptor type cannot be determined.

In windows battery shows as plugged in, not charging. My adaptor plug has become loose (the wire slips out easily from the slot) any suggestions how I can fix this issue ?

I cannot use my laptop without power connected. The battery shows good in the diagnostics.
