Dell XPS 15 - Function Keys (F5 especially) do not work
Hello. I recently got an XPS 15 with the i7 core. The function keys (F5, etc.) do not seem to work. I canot get a web page to refresh with the F5 key, and as I am a designer I need this to work.
I read that one could press the actual Fn key 5 times and that might help, but it did not. Please let me know of any specific steps I need to take to find the function key issue and fix it.
Thank you. :0)

Hallo. It turned out there is a setting that allows you to change the function keys from tools use to function key use - it was defaulted the other way. Problem solved.

Can you please tell me how you fixed this? I'm also a web designer and this is vital to my efficiency. I have to keep manually clearing my cache to view my updates. Thanks!!

Windows Mobility Center. Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Windows Mobility Center - allows you to change the function key default. Good luck!

Good day, guys.
What about Ubuntu?
I just bought dell xps 15 (501x) and have some issues.
The main is - function keys work when I'm not holding or pressing FN key, and when I'm they work like normal F1..F12 keys.
How can this be solved?
